A complainant who initially opts to make a confidential disclosure may later decide to file a report with the College and/or the Lynchburg Police Department (see Reporting Interpersonal Misconduct below).
An individual who believes he/she is the victim of interpersonal misconduct (i.e., a complainant) is encouraged, but not required, to report the incident in writing or orally to Lynchburg College and to the local police agency.
Medical assistance may be sought through Lynchburg College’s Student Health Center (students only) and through off-campus medical providers.
Use of other resources available on campus and off that may be helpful is encouraged (see “Interpersonal Misconduct Policy Resources”).
