1. Turn away a stopper from the removed reducer and merge oil
2. Release a counternut of the adjusting screw of a shaft of a reducer and turn out bolts of a cover of a reducer (photo).
3. Turn out the adjusting screw, rotating clockwise and uncover.
4. Remove a shaft сошки and get the adjusting screw.
5. By means of a special key turn away an adjusting nut (photo).
6. Get a leading shaft of a reducer together with an adjusting nut (photo).
Do not suppose displacement of balls to end faces of worm cutting. Otherwise the worm part of a shaft will be damaged, In case of deterioration or damage and a worm it is necessary to replace a ball nut.
7. Needle bearings of a shaft сошки to remove it is not supposed In case of deterioration of bearings replace all reducer.
8. Turn out an adjusting nut and bring down from a nut an epiploon.
9. Hook and get an epiploon from the reducer case.
10. Wash out all details.
11. Examine teeths on a shaft сошки, check up presence on them of cracks or agnails.
12. Check up a condition шлицов a shaft сошки.
13. Check up a cutting condition on the leader to a shaft, presence of cracks, agnails and other damages. Check up freedom of rotation of a ball nut on a worm. Believe freedom of moving of balls, gradually overturning a shaft in vertical position, balls should roll down under the influence of a body weight. Otherwise replace a leading shaft.

At check do not suppose скатывания a ball in the end of a tooth of worm cutting.
14. Check up freedom of rotation of bearings of a reducer. In case of jamming replace the bearing in gathering with an external holder.
15. Before assemblage grease all details. Establish new epiploons so that the party with letters has been turned outside. In epiploons put greasing.
16. Establish a new epiploon on an adjusting nut.
17. Establish a leading shaft in gathering by a nut in a reducer. Screw a nut on a carving in a reducer.
18. Create in bearings of a leading shaft of a reducer a preliminary tightness (photo). For this purpose gradually wrap an adjusting nut until then while the resistance moment проворачивания a shaft does not become equal specified in Specifications.
The moment is measured динамометрическим by a key with a scale in some Н.м. After проворачивания a leading shaft in both directions on some turns. To improve gearing шлицов with a key insert into a head of a key a plastic card slice.

19. Grease a ring counternut with fixing structure and draw in it an adjusting nut, without supposing проворачивания an adjusting nut. Again check up a preliminary tightness in bearings.
20. Establish in T - figurative cut of a shaft сошки the adjusting screw and check up an axial backlash of the screw in cut (photo). Compensate this backlash to norm, having picked up an adjusting washer on a thickness (Specifications see).

21. Establish in a shaft of the case of a steering reducer a new epiploon.
22. Rotating the adjusting screw counter-clockwise, establish on a shaft a case cover, screw a counternut (photo).
23. Establish on a cover a lining, having greased from both parties with hermetic.
24. Turn a leading shaft by hand and establish a ball nut in average position. Establish a shaft сошки with the screw. Be convinced that the central tooth on a shaft сошки has entered into gearing with the central flute of a ball nut. At performance of this procedure do not damage an epiploon edge.
25. Tighten bolts of a cover with the set moment.
26. Fill in oil in a reducer and wrap a stopper.
27. Create a preliminary tightness in shaft bearings сошки, rotating the adjusting screw (photo). Resistance проворачиванию a shaft сошки should correspond specified in Specifications. The moment is checked at shaft position сошки in driving position on a straight line.
28. Tighten a counternut and again check up a tightness.
